2022 The Health Summit at Sundance
In 2017, on a whim, we invited some of the most innovative thinkers in health care and related fields to Utah for President’s Day weekend. We believed that time away from the daily demands of our jobs could help inspire some of the big ideas needed to tackle big problems. We carried on the tradition, meeting year after year to enjoy a rich exchange of ideas and experiences, fueled by crisp mountain air, spectacular Alpine scenery, and some fresh Utah powder. At our last meeting, in February 2020, none of us would have imagined the next 24 months, and the ways in which the world would struggle with one of the greatest public health crises of our generation.
This year we gather again, with a renewed sense of urgency to advance resiliency in our health care system—especially thinking about the potential for data and technology to guide and drive improvements in climate change, health disparities, and workforce quality of life, among others. The sessions will again be in a closed format so that participants can speak freely.
